Role Overview

Fusion People Ltd is seeking a Water Systems Expert Lead to join their team in West Yorkshire, North Yorkshire or Cumbria. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a talented professional to lead a dedicated team of hydraulic modelers & engineers and contribute to the success of projects related to water systems and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish best practices, drive innovation, and contribute to project success on water systems and infrastructure schemes.
  • Produce and run 1D/2D hydraulic models, Flood Risk Assessments, Flood Alleviation Schemes, and Drainage Strategies on various schemes.
  • Provide technical support to the team of Engineers and support them in delivering projects.
  • Built and maintain strong client relationships, understanding their needs, and manage expectations effectively.

Requirements:

  • Degree in one of the following disciplines: Geography, Civil or Environmental Engineering or equivalent.
  • Membership with CIWEM or working towards membership.
  • Ability to manage project delivery and provide leadership.
  • Proven record delivering Flood Alleviation schemes, Flood Risk Assessments, and Drainage Strategies.
  • Proficiency in engineering software tools, such as Autocad, QGIS.
  • Proficiency in Hydraulic Modelling software such as Infodrainage, Flow, HEC-RAS, TUFLOW, Flood Modeller.
  • Strong project management skills, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Strong leadership skills, including mentoring and team building.
  • Full UK driving license.
