Job Description: School Administrative Support Officer

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and highly organized administrator to join our team at St Peter's, a successful and oversubscribed school in Dorset. As a key member of our administration team, you will provide exceptional support to our staff and students, ensuring the smooth operation of our school office.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the school office, responding to phone calls, emails, and visitors
  • Maintain accurate records and databases, ensuring data protection compliance
  • Support the finance team with budgeting and financial planning
  • Develop and implement administrative processes to improve efficiency and productivity

About You:
To be successful in this role, you will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to maintain confidentiality and work accurately under pressure. You should also possess a high level of organizational skills, with experience of managing multiple tasks and deadlines. A basic understanding of finance and budgeting would be advantageous.

You will be a highly motivated and flexible individual who is able to work effectively as part of a team. You should have a genuine interest in education and a passion for delivering outstanding administrative support. What We Offer:
In return for your hard work and dedication, we offer a competitive salary of £12-15 per hour (dependent on experience), 12 hours per week, Monday and Thursday, Term Time only. You will also receive comprehensive training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and career progression within the school.
