Payroll Assistant Manager

This is a rewarding part-time role as a Payroll Clerk where you will play a vital role in upholding employee satisfaction and collaborating closely with HR and finance teams.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the full payroll process, ensuring timely and accurate payments, including salaries, overtime, bonuses, statutory deductions, and pensions.
- Handle starters, leavers, P45s/P46s, and statutory payments (SSP, SMP, etc.), while maintaining GDPR-compliant payroll records.
- Submit all required HMRC updates, FPS, and year-end returns, and manage auto-enrolment pension contributions.
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience in payroll processing.
- Strong knowledge of PAYE, NIC, RTI, and auto-enrolment processes.
- Proficiency in computerised payroll systems, with experience in SAGE Payroll preferred.
