We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Administrator to join our team in Rayleigh, Essex. As the first point of contact for clients, sub-contractors, and suppliers, you will be responsible for handling office and project administration tasks, answering incoming calls, and managing incoming mail and email.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, sub-contractors, and suppliers.
- Handle office and project administration tasks, including data entry and record-keeping.
- Answer incoming calls and respond to inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
- Manage incoming mail and email, including sorting and distributing correspondence.
- Provide necessary information to the accounts manager for timely project invoicing.
- Act as the company's Data Protection Officer to ensure GDPR compliance.
- Regularly review and update company policies as required.
- Assist in the procurement of materials and prepare quotes and tenders for new projects.
- Manage site operations and project handovers, and facilitate liaison between site and office.
- Ability to prioritize workloads, multi-task, and work within a busy office environment.
- Proficiency in the full Microsoft Office Package and Windows 10 operating systems.
- Basic working knowledge of Sage accounts package is ideal.
- Excellent numerical ability.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Professional, approachable, and friendly manner.
