  • Leading quality improvement activities working with all department heads
  • Supervision of the quality team to ensure optimal performance is attained;
  • Effective closure of both internal and external (Corrective Action and Preventive Action) production quality issues;
  • Developing and maintaining appropriate quality instructions, specifications, and standards;
  • Leading supplier quality improvements;
  • Supporting quality training of production staff;
  • Acting as a quality mentor to the quality and production teams;
  • Performing audits of the production quality system;
  • Effective control of non-conforming product;
  • Improvement of First Off Inspection process Key Performance Indicators;
  • Improvement of Shipping Release process Key Performance Indicators;
  • Risk reduction of the assembly, test, packing, and shipping processes;
  • Maintaining all required records and performance indicators;
Requirements of the Senior Quality Assurance Manager:

Essential
  • Excellent leadership skills/experience
  • Experience leading a quality function
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, e.g. DMAIC, PDCA, 8D, etc
  • Related manufacturing/production industry experience
Desirable
  • Good working knowledge of ISO 13485/ISO 9001
  • Knowledge of Control Plan, Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis, Corrective Action and Preventive Action, Validation (IQ, OQ, PQ), PPAP, MRP, Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing
  • HNC/HND or equivalent in Electrical/Electronic and/or Mechanical Engineering
