Business Manager to Chief Investor Relations and Strategy Officer

We're recruiting for a Business Manager to support our Chief Strategy and Investor Relations Officer, Dhruv Gahlaut, in executing the Group strategy and investor relations activity.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide strategic-level support in managing business operations, implementing strategies, and overseeing key projects.
- Work closely with the Chief Strategy and Investor Relations Officer and their Leadership Team to develop and execute the strategy and initiatives.
- Coordinate business initiatives to ensure they're joined up, encouraging simplicity and identifying and removing any blockers.
- Monitor industry trends, regulatory guidance, and competitor activities, bringing the outside in.
- Ensure Investor Relations activity is completed to a high standard, including supporting the preparation of content for external results announcements, investor relations roadshow planning and coordination.
- Work closely with finance and assist the Leadership Team in preparing and managing budgets, forecasting financial performance, identifying cost efficiencies, and ensuring that financial goals are met.
- Review the supporting material for the announcements, presentations, investor packs, annual report, press releases, etc.
- Current or recent experience in Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A), External Reporting, Equity Research (covering insurance), or Investor Relations within an insurance plc or Lloyd's of London insurer.
- Strong financial analysis experience, with the ability to understand the key financial drivers of a business.
- Analytical skills to not only gather and summarise data but also help find solutions to project challenges.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate and present information to a wide range of senior internal and external contacts and prepare materials for such audiences.
- Discretion, tact, and assertiveness, with the ability to influence and manage relationships with colleagues at all levels of the organisation.
