Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Clinical Support Worker to join our CAMHS inpatient service, Ancora House. As a key member of our team, you will work collaboratively with service users, carers, and other stakeholders to provide high-quality care and support.

Main Responsibilities
  • Work on a rotational shift basis, including days, nights, and twilight shifts, to provide comprehensive care and support to service users.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with service users, carers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of individual care plans, ensuring that service users' needs are met and their rights are respected.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to share knowledge, expertise, and best practices, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Engage in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge, staying up-to-date with the latest research, policies, and guidelines.

Person Specification

We are looking for a candidate who possesses the following essential criteria:

  • A relevant mental health-related qualification or willingness to complete an apprenticeship.
  • Experience of working collaboratively with service users, carers, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to demonstrate good quality care, adhering to Trust policies and procedures.
  • Knowledge of CWP observation policy and confidentiality issues related to mental health policy and practice interventions.

Desirable criteria include qualifications in Health and Social Care or other related disciplines, and knowledge of mental health legislation and policies.
