Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Clinical Support Worker to join our CAMHS inpatient service, Ancora House. As a key member of our team, you will work collaboratively with service users, carers, and other stakeholders to provide high-quality care and support.

Main Duties

As a Clinical Support Worker, you will be responsible for working on a rotational shift basis, including days, nights, and twilight shifts. You will support young people in education, provide different levels of observations, and liaise with external agencies and families/carers.

You will be part of a supportive and knowledgeable multi-disciplinary team, working collaboratively to provide the highest quality of care for our service users. We have an excellent training programme in place to support your professional development.

Person Specification

We are looking for someone with an appropriate Mental Health related qualification or willingness to complete an apprenticeship. You will also need to demonstrate a range of work procedures and practices, and exhibit your knowledge and abilities.

Desirable criteria include qualifications in Health and Social Care or other related disciplines, and knowledge of mental health legislation and policies.

As a Clinical Support Worker, you will need to demonstrate good quality care, while adhering to Trust policies and procedures. You will also need to have experience of working collaboratively, supporting others in a care setting, and working with adults with severe mental health needs.
