Overview

Cotton Council International (CCI) is the export arm of the National Cotton Council, responsible for promoting U.S. grown cotton fiber and value-added products to drive exports.

Job Description

We are seeking consultants to help drive the United States Cotton Trust Protocol (USCTP) to success. The USCTP is a leading sustainability and traceability standard with over 4 years of experience.

Sustainability Consultant Roles
  • Membership Consultant: Work with brands and retailers in North America and Europe to promote the USCTP and incentivize membership. Requirements include at least 10 years of sales experience in the textile category, thorough knowledge of cotton sustainability programs, and excellent public speaking skills.
  • Traceability Consultants: Collaborate with Textile Genesis to help brands and retailers implement the USCTP traceability solution, ensuring product traceability throughout the supply chain. Requirements include at least 10 years' experience in the textile supply chain, deep knowledge of the Textile Genesis system, and strong training and onboarding skills.
  • Sustainability Consultants: Provide scientific expertise on U.S. cotton's sustainability credentials, requiring either a graduate degree in a sustainability field or significant experience in sustainability within a brand organization. A minimum of 10 years of experience is desired, along with a willingness to travel as needed.
Compensation and Benefits

Salary will be negotiated commensurate with the length and depth of engagement. Compensation details will be discussed during the proposal process.
