About the RoleThe hourly rate for this position is £12.00 and up to £13.15 across selected locations within London. The hourly rate will increase after 6 months in role.
No previous experience is required, and full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities- Learn how to tailor conversations with every customer to ensure they leave the pharmacy feeling informed and confident about their healthcare needs.
- Work towards delivering the technical aspects of the dispensary while ensuring the safe supply of medicines, e.g., ordering medicines, labelling, dispensing, endorsing, and collection of prescriptions.
- Comply with legal and professional requirements and accepted guidance on professional practice.
- Seek opportunities to engage with GPs and practice teams to promote services and items.
- Work towards delivering efficient dispensary operations and minimizing dispensing losses.
We're looking for individuals with a genuine passion for customer care and who will be ambassadors for healthcare in our stores. You should have the ability to build excellent relationships with patients and your team and understand individual patient needs, tailoring your support and advice accordingly. You'll need to advise patients with confidence and accuracy while remaining customer-focused.
As you continue to develop your healthcare knowledge, you may be eligible to register with the GPHC as a Pharmacy Technician and progress towards an Accuracy Checking Pharmacy Technician (ACPT) role, reflecting your growing skills and qualifications.
