About the Role
Solent NHS Trust is seeking a highly skilled Business Administrator to join its vibrant Administration Team in Portsmouth. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Mental Health Team, ensuring the smooth running of daily operations.
Main Responsibilities
Your primary duties will include:
- Managing clinical diary management, booking rooms, patient appointments, and resolving queries with clinicians
- Updating electronic record systems and sending appointment letters following Trust guidelines and targets
- Ensuring referrals are actioned in accordance with Mental Health Service procedures and performance targets
- Retrieving and storing records from Restore, ensuring accurate information is recorded and distributed
- Producing letters, emails, and memoranda using standardised Trust templates
- Providing administrative support for meetings and investigations, including agenda preparation and follow-up actions
- Processing incoming and outgoing mail, telephone, or written messages, distributing appropriately and in a timely manner
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- GCSE grade C/4 in English or a good standard of general education
- Level 3 Diploma Apprenticeship in Business Administration or relevant experience
