Senior Pensions Administrator

XPS Pensions Group is a leading independent pensions consulting and administration business. Our Pensions Administration business continues to grow, and we are seeking an experienced Senior Pensions Administrator to join our vibrant Portsmouth office with hybrid working.

This role would suit someone with previous experience in a Pensions Administration role, where they have gained knowledge and experience of Defined Benefit (DB) pension schemes.

As a Senior Pensions Administrator with XPS, you will:

  • Monitor accuracy, performance, and SLAs for the team, including activity and client performances, and take action to ensure targets are met.
  • Handle complex pensions queries, scrutinising the work of other less experienced pension administration team members.
  • Update relevant pension administration databases and systems.
  • Perform manual and automated benefits calculations.
  • Help identify any training needs across the team and assist with developing and mentoring team members.

Key requirements include:

  • Previous pensions administration experience of Defined Benefit (DB) schemes.
  • Experience of current pensions legislation and framework.
  • IT proficient, in particular Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook.
  • Maths and English GCSE grade 4/C or equivalent.
