Carrier Fire & Security EMEA is on the lookout for a Strategic Growth Manager to enhance their Portable Fire Extinguisher business, TG Products, across the UK & Ireland. The primary objective of this position is to cultivate and expand relationships with major distributors and service providers throughout the region. We are particularly interested in candidates residing in the southern regions of the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively seek out innovative business avenues to boost sales.
  • Identify potential within the existing customer base and optimize sales opportunities.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, challenges, and news relevant to the UK & Ireland.
  • Enhance customer relationship management strategies to foster collaboration and develop a robust sales pipeline.
  • Establish and maintain strong connections with product and marketing teams to maximize current and future sales prospects.
  • Facilitate effective internal communication across departments to ensure comprehensive understanding of accounts, pricing, and listings. Analyze consumer needs and demonstrate how our solutions can meet them.
  • Achieve organizational goals through strategic planning, setting sales targets, analyzing performance metrics, and forecasting future outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain close relationships with key clients.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on key quantitative metrics and business trends related to partner relationships.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a Business Development role or similar, preferably within the fire safety sector.
  • Strong knowledge of fire extinguisher regulations and servicing standards.
  • Background in Engineering, Technical Sales, or related fields.
  • Exceptional verbal communication and presentation abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the capacity to forge strategic relationships both internally and externally.
  • Customer-focused with a strong aptitude for value-based selling, adept at translating product features into customer benefits.
  • Self-driven with effective planning capabilities.
  • Strong business acumen and sales insight.
  • Analytical mindset with a clear strategic focus.
  • Willingness to travel at least 60% of the time.
