We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Police Liaison Officer to join our team at Humankind. As a key member of our Criminal Justice Recovery Coordination team, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals who are experiencing problematic substance use.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with Police colleagues to support members of the public who may have transgressed the law but do not require prosecution.
  • Offer advice, support, and guidance to these individuals around the dangers of drug and alcohol misuse.
  • Collaborate with the Harm Minimisation Lead and Outreach Worker to provide tailored guidance in minimising harmful behaviour and support those into service if required.
  • Take a holistic approach to ensure every service user's package of care encompasses all areas of their wellbeing, not just their substance use.
