Senior Support Worker

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Support Worker to join our team at The Richmond Fellowship Scotland. As a Senior Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing support and guidance to our front line staff, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality care and support to our service users.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coaching and mentoring front line staff to develop their skills and knowledge.
- Identifying training needs and ensuring that staff receive the necessary training and support.
- Producing staff rotas and managing holiday cover and absence.
- Developing the ability of staff to produce accurate and effective support plans.
- Covering on-call shift work as needed.
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience in supporting individuals within care and social care settings.
- SVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification.
- Registration with the SSSC as a Supervisor in Care at Home and Housing Support Services.
The successful candidate will be required to register with the SSSC and undergo PVG checks.
