About the Role

We are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of a leading building materials business for a Specification Manager to cover the North East region. Our client is known for providing high-quality solutions to the construction industry, and they are looking for a dynamic and results-driven individual to join their team.

This role focuses on driving new business with ground engineers and contractors, as well as managing and developing existing relationships within the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a strategic plan to grow new business with ground engineers, contractors, and other key stakeholders in the North East region.
  • Build strong relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Provide technical support and expert advice on product specifications to meet the needs of clients and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to create targeted campaigns and promotional materials.
  • Identify opportunities for new specifications, develop leads, and convert them into profitable sales.
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and meetings to network and promote the business.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to adapt strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Prepare and deliver regular reports on sales activities, pipeline development, and key account management to the senior management team.
Candidate Profile

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Specification Manager to join our team at PYVITAL. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in a similar role, with a strong understanding of the specification process and experience working with ground engineers and contractors.

The successful candidate will be a strong communicator with excellent relationship-building skills, and will be able to influence and negotiate effectively with clients and stakeholders.

They will also be highly organized, with strong planning and time management abilities, and will be comfortable working in a field-based role, covering the North East region.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive basic salary of £50,000 - £60,000, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including a bonus scheme, pension, and health insurance.
