Retail Training Manager

About The RoleWe're looking for a skilled Training Manager to join our team. As a key member of our hospitality operations team, you'll be responsible for developing and implementing training programs to ensure our teams deliver exceptional customer experiences across our global network of bars.
As a Training Manager, you'll work closely with our operations team, opening managers, franchisees, and General Managers to create and maintain high standards of customer service, beer knowledge, and hospitality expertise. You'll also be responsible for supporting our regional and site-level trainers, reacting to fast-paced changes, and communicating clearly to our teams.
We're looking for someone with prior experience in training within a multi-site hospitality group, who's passionate about hospitality and has excellent written and face-to-face communication skills. You'll be a certified geek with a passion for learning, a hyper-organized self-starter, and a problem solver with creative outside-the-box thinking.
Some key focus areas for this role include:
- Planning strategic training programs for our existing bar teams.
- Utilizing, developing, implementing, and managing training systems.
- Supporting our network of regional and site-level trainers throughout the business.
- Reacting to fast-paced changes and communicating clearly to our teams.
We're looking for someone who's:
- Prior experience in training within a multi-site hospitality group.
- A certified geek with a passion for hospitality.
- A hyper-organized self-starter able to prioritize clearly and urgently.
- An optimistic quick learner, happy to take on full projects and ask questions to get to the cause.
- A problem solver and creative outside-the-box thinker.
- Experienced in hospitality openings.
- Excellent written and face-to-face communication skills with fluent English, other languages beneficial but not mandatory.
- Comfortable presenting to a variety of audiences both face-to-face and virtually.
- Skills in project management.
