Job Title:

Air Traffic Control Specialist

Location:

Warton – on-site

Salary:

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Perform daily inspections to ensure all systems are serviceable
  2. Inform ATC of any unserviceability's found during the daily inspection
  3. Carry out fault rectification as and when required
  4. Complete scheduled servicing
  5. Undertake project work as required
  6. Ensure all relevant documentation is completed
  7. Maintain up-to-date competency
Requirements:

Essential:

  1. Engineering qualifications to HNC level or equivalent
  2. Experience using some or all of the following equipment:
  • Instrument Landing System
  • Distance Measuring Equipment
  • Primary and Secondary Surveillance Radar
  • Non-Directional Beacon
  • Direction Finder
  • Radio Transmitters and Receivers
  • Voice Communication Control System
Experience in fault investigation and rectification and familiarity with telecommunications test equipment

Desirable:

  1. A good understanding of Windows and Linux operating systems, as well as expertise in network and data communications
