About the Role

Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a CAMHS Clinician in Training. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary team providing evidence-based interventions and support to children, young people, and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work within a multidisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based assessment and intervention to children and young people.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of treatment plans in collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
  • Provide support and guidance to families and carers to promote the mental health and well-being of children and young people.
  • Participate in regular clinical supervision and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Recognised qualification in a core mental health profession (e.g., psychiatric nursing, occupational therapy, social work).
  • Current professional registration.
  • Two years' professional experience working in mental health services.
  • Experience of working with safeguarding issues and multi-agency working.
