Job Title: Rheumatology Administration Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized administrative support officer to join our medical rheumatology team at LGT Queen Elizabeth Hospital. As a key member of the divisional rheumatology team, you will work closely with the department's medical secretary admin team, service and assistant managers, general manager, CNS nurses, and consultants to provide administrative tasks within the rheumatology department.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Ability to prioritize workload
  • Able to meet deadlines under pressure
  • Enjoys working as part of a team
  • Ability to communicate with personnel at all levels of the organization

Requirements:

  • Educated to GCSE Level NVQ Level 2 or equivalent, or previous experience of working within the NHS service
  • Recent NHS experience
  • Numerate and articulate
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of Patient Admin System (PAS)
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Keyboard skills
  • Able to demonstrate an understanding of issues relating to confidentiality and when dealing with sensitive situations
  • Experience of using e-RS (previously Choose and Book)
