Job Title: Quality Assurance Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to oversee the daily quality function for a prestigious food production company. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with BRC standards, legislation, and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Quality Management System to ensure site adherence to quality systems, BRC 8, and customer standards.
  • Develop and implement food safety training programs, including CCPs, allergens, GMP, and microbiology awareness.
  • Supervise QA Technologists and support the production team in meeting technical and quality standards.
  • Monitor and maintain process controls, product quality, and audit documentation.
  • Conduct root cause analysis on customer complaints and non-conformances, implementing corrective actions.
  • Oversee equipment functionality and the taste panel system for product review.
  • Assist with customer visits, third-party audits, and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in food manufacturing quality assurance.
  • Level 3 Food Safety & HACCP certification.
  • Experience with BRC standards and managing QMS.
  • Strong understanding of key food industry legislation.
