**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Manager to lead a large team of quality professionals and drive quality excellence across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reporting to the Head of Quality, responsible for leading a team of quality professionals in implementing and maintaining quality systems and processes.
- First point of contact for all customer concerns and complaints, ensuring prompt and effective resolution.
- Lead 8D problem-solving activities, delegating work to team members and ensuring timely resolution of quality issues.
- Audit systems and processes to ensure compliance with IATF16949 standard.
- Analyse quality data to identify trends and areas for improvement, implementing corrective actions to enhance quality processes.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support new product introduction (NPI) activities, including APQP and PPAP submissions.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Quality Assurance professional in an automotive tier 1 or OEM background.
- HNC/ Degree in a technical subject or equivalent professional level qualification.
- Excellent knowledge of quality systems, particularly IATF16949.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with demanding customers.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with experience in using quality tools such as APQP, 8D, MSA, 5Whys, and root cause analysis.
- Lean Six Sigma green belt certification preferred.
- Leadership ability to coach and develop team members, promoting a culture of quality excellence.
