About the Role

The Executive Reward Manager (Interim) is a critical position at Pearson, requiring a skilled professional to manage and drive the executive reward process. The ideal candidate will have experience working within complex organizations and/or consultancy, with a passion for solving problems and holistic thinking.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in yearly remuneration committee and Annual General Meeting cycle, drafting papers, working materials, and backup analysis.
  • Manage analysis and draw conclusions for target setting, remuneration benchmarking, and valuation of benefits and equity awards.
  • Provide support for assessment, design, implementation, and review of global career framework at senior levels.
  • Perform industry and financial research related to compensation strategy and design.
  • Identify best practices and emerging trends in executive compensation, including regulatory, legislative, and shareholder developments.
  • Develop pay structures and incentive designs that support business strategy.
  • Standardize policies and processes.
  • Maintain data integrity and protection.
  • Work with Group Finance to track and report reward metrics accurately.

Requirements

  • Experience in UK executive remuneration regulation and remuneration committee work for listed companies.
  • In-depth knowledge of tax, corporate finance, regulatory, and accounting requirements related to executive reward.
  • Passion for analytic and pragmatic problem-solving.
  • Ability to see the broader picture and how reward fits into business strategy.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills.

Salary & Benefits
