We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Performance Subsurface Manager to join our team at First Recruitment Group. As a key member of our Development Team, you will be responsible for leading the Ghana Field Performance Team to maximize long-term recovery from the Ghana BU fields.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement a deep understanding of the Ghana BU fields, including their geology, reservoir characteristics, and production performance.
- Determine the optimum reservoir management strategy for each field, in conjunction with the WRFM team, to ensure maximum recovery and minimize costs.
- Generate long-term and short-term forecasts using various methods, including modeling and simulation, to inform business decisions.
- Lead the production budget process for the Ghana BU, ensuring accurate forecasting and budgeting.
- Responsible for the Ghana BU reserves and resources, working closely with Field Development teams to generate a reserve booking plan.
- Lead a team of senior reservoir engineers and geoscientists, coordinating their efforts to support business processes and achieve team goals.
- Master's degree in Petroleum Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a subsurface capacity, preferably with an operator company.
- Proven track record of leading a subsurface team and achieving business objectives.
- Strong understanding of business drivers and how subsurface work impacts business outcomes.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
