About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Childcare Support Professional to join our team at Bay View. As a key member of our residential team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to young people aged 8-18 with social, emotional, and behavioural difficulties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide a safe, secure, and homely environment for the children and young adults in the home
- Support the development of individual care plans and contribute to the implementation of these plans
- Build constructive and trusting relationships with the children, understanding their personal background and individual needs
- Proactively engage with the children, creating an open, positive, and inclusive environment
- Supervise and keep the children safe, managing any conflict situations that may arise
- Communicate effectively with the Registered Manager, Deputy Manager, and Shift Leader regarding any issues or concerns
Requirements:
- Diploma Level 3 in Working with Children & Young People or Level 4 Children, Young People and Families practitioner Apprenticeship
- Full UK driving license
- DBS check at enhanced level
