Key Responsibilities">

As a CAMHS Consultant Liaison Psychiatrist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality specialist clinical assessments and consultations for children, young people, and their families in an Acute Hospital Setting.

You will work collaboratively with other members of the team and acute hospital staff to plan and deliver appropriate individually tailored treatment plans.

The role will be based in the Royal Alexandra Children's Hospital in Brighton and will also provide sessions to hospitals in West Sussex.

You will have excellent knowledge in specialty, excellent clinical skills using bio-psycho-social perspective and wide medical knowledge. You will also have excellent oral and written communication skills in English, able to manage clinical complexity and uncertainty, and make decisions based on evidence and experience including the contribution of others.

The successful candidate will also contribute to the development of the team and participate in quality improvement initiatives. They will be expected to contribute to the shared value of people participation and support the functioning of the service in delivering its participation strategy.

The estimated salary for this role is £123,132 per annum, depending on experience.
