Job Summary:

Leaders In Care Recruitment is seeking a skilled and compassionate Community Chemotherapy Nurse to join our team. As a Community Chemotherapy Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to oncology patients in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver chemotherapy treatments to patients in their homes, including IV chemotherapy, oral chemotherapy, and pump disconnections.
  • Conduct regular blood tests and toxicity assessments to monitor patient health.
  • Administer IM/SC injections and provide line care to patients.
  • Work independently in the community, with regular contact with managers and colleagues.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and therapies in oncology care.

  • 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend working and bank holiday on-call shifts.

Requirements:

  • Active NMC Pin - Registered RGN Nurse.
  • Experience in Oncology, Haematology, or Chemotherapy is essential.
  • Cannulation & Venepuncture experience.
