Job Summary

Leaders In Care Recruitment Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Specialist Community Oncology Nurse to join our team. As a Community Cancer Care Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to individuals receiving oncology treatments in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver comprehensive oncology care to patients in their homes, including chemotherapy administration, blood tests, and toxicity assessments.
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote optimal health outcomes.
  • Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to ensure patient safety and well-being.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate care and services.
Requirements
  • Active NMC Pin - Registered RGN Nurse
  • Experience in Oncology, Haematology, or Chemotherapy is essential
  • Cannulation & Venepuncture experience
  • Driving Licence
  • SACT Passport or equivalent qualification
What We Offer
  • Competitive salary up to £43,000 negotiable on experience

  • Mainly working Monday to Friday 37.5 hours per week occasional weekend working/ bank holiday on call
