Leaders In Care Recruitment Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Specialist Community Oncology Nurse to join our team. As a Community Cancer Care Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to individuals receiving oncology treatments in their own homes.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver comprehensive oncology care to patients in their homes, including chemotherapy administration, blood tests, and toxicity assessments.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote optimal health outcomes.
- Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to ensure patient safety and well-being.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate care and services.
- Active NMC Pin - Registered RGN Nurse
- Experience in Oncology, Haematology, or Chemotherapy is essential
- Cannulation & Venepuncture experience
- Driving Licence
- SACT Passport or equivalent qualification
- Competitive salary up to £43,000 negotiable on experience
- Company car or an extra £4850 car allowance
- Mainly working Monday to Friday 37.5 hours per week occasional weekend working/ bank holiday on call
- Mileage covered
- NMC fees paid
