NHS Scotland is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse Specialist to join their Neuro Oncology team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing patients and associated symptoms related to Neuro Oncology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing patients and associated symptoms related to Neuro Oncology
- Delivering high-quality in-patient and outpatient clinic services
- Providing pre-treatment counselling and screening, monitoring of therapy/clinical response, urgent intervention and admission avoidance consultations
- Collaborating with hospital clinicians and general practitioners
- Delivering clinical support with a high level of ITC skills
Requirements:
- Registered Adult Nurse with the NMC
- Significant post-registration experience within the relevant speciality
- Ability to work independently and possess excellent communication skills
- Willingness to undertake non-medical prescribing and clinical assessment modules
