Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and caring Registered Nurse to join our Heart Failure team in South Sector, NHS Scotland.

About the Role: As a Heart Failure Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will provide a patient-centred specialist nursing service to optimise the continuum of care of patients with Heart Failure. You will work with the Multi-Disciplinary Team to manage patients effectively throughout their care episode, from diagnosis to community care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality, evidence-based clinical care to patients with Heart Failure.
  • Exercise autonomous and non-medical prescribing skills.
  • Support junior nursing and medical staff, and be actively involved in teaching.
  • Work collaboratively with the Multi-Disciplinary Team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you must be a Registered Nurse with postgraduate education or demonstrable equivalent experience. You should have clinical leadership and experience within cardiology, including patient management in Heart Failure.
