Job Summary: We are seeking a qualified Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our dynamic multi-disciplinary team in North Glasgow Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services. The successful candidate will provide leadership and expertise in delivering the CAMHS service as outlined in the Neurodevelopmental Specification for Children and Young People.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake and provide specialist assessment of patient needs, implementation and evaluation of programmes of care, which are evidence-based within this defined patient group.
  • Support the wider team in delivering care for children and young people who present with a complex presentation of moderate to severe mental health disorders and co-morbid neurodiversity.
  • Provide leadership and expertise in delivering the CAMHS service as outlined in the Neurodevelopmental Specification for Children and Young People.

Requirements:

  • First-level Registered Mental Health Nurse or Registered Learning Disability Nurse with current NMC registration.
  • Substantial relevant post-registration experience, with some experience within CAMHS or Adult Mental Health.
  • Good communication and organisational skills.
