Position Overview

Join our team as an Oncology Community Nurse with a leading provider in Cancer Care. This role is designed for professionals who thrive in a community setting, delivering essential care to patients in their homes. As an Oncology Nurse, you will administer a variety of treatments to oncology patients, ensuring they receive the highest standard of care.
Your responsibilities will include conducting blood tests, performing toxicity evaluations, administering IV and oral chemotherapy, managing pump disconnections, providing line care, and executing IM/SC injections, among other duties.
While you will operate independently in the community, you will remain an integral part of a broader nursing team, maintaining regular communication with management and colleagues. This position offers the opportunity to stay at the forefront of your field, gaining insights into innovative technologies and therapies, while contributing to the evolution of care models.

Qualifications Required:
  • Active NMC Pin - Registered RGN Nurse
  • Essential experience in Oncology, Haematology, or Chemotherapy
  • Proficiency in Cannulation & Venepuncture
  • Valid Driving Licence
  • SACT Passport or equivalent certification
