Role Overview
Otis is a leading elevator and escalator manufacturing company that values Safety, Ethics, Quality, Innovation, and Employee Opportunity. We are seeking a Service Sales Consultant to cover a specified geographic territory and report to the Regional Sales Service Manager.
Main Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of elevator units through maintaining good working relationships with existing customers.
- Develop new customers via cold calling, networking, bids, and tenders.
- Develop a sales strategy to achieve sales targets.
- Use Otis' sales tools to effectively track opportunities, pipeline, and forecast sales results.
- Collaborate with fellow team members, including other sales representatives and field colleagues.
Requirements
- A business or technical degree or completed training as a technician or technical business administrator, and 3 years of prior work experience.
- Initial experience in the sale of technical service agreements requiring consultation.
- A strong customer and service orientation, including excellent interpersonal skills.
- A high level of commitment and reliability.
- Target focused, with the ability to work at pace in a demanding, complex, corporate organization.
