Heritage Building Management Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Heritage Building Management Specialist to join our team at Hays Construction and Property in the South East region. This exciting opportunity involves working as part of a heritage charity, providing professional building surveying services.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all projects are delivered to the highest quality and value for money. This will involve inspecting repairs, refurbishments, and construction works, surveying and specifying routine repairs and maintenance work, and maintaining effective communication with colleagues and stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of the building industry, a HNC/HND qualification or equivalent, and a clean driving license. The salary for this position is estimated to be around £45,000-£65,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect repairs, refurbishments, and construction works to ensure they meet standards and health and safety requirements.
- Survey, specify, tender, and monitor routine repairs and maintenance work.
- Maintain effective communication with colleagues, construction professionals, contractors, and tenants.
- Produce regular reports and maintain comprehensive digital records of work and inspections.
Requirements
- A good understanding of the building industry.
- A HNC/HND qualification or equivalent.
- A clean driving license.
