Residential Support Worker for Children

CareTech Group is seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals to join our team as Residential Support Workers. We provide a nurturing environment for children aged 8-18 who require support due to emotional and behavioral difficulties.

As a Residential Support Worker, you will play a vital role in the daily lives of these young people, offering guidance, encouragement, and a safe space for growth. Your responsibilities will encompass:

  • Providing personalized care and support to children, assisting with their emotional well-being and personal development.
  • Creating a positive and structured living environment that promotes independence and self-reliance.
  • Organizing engaging activities and outings to foster social skills and recreational interests.
  • Collaborating effectively with other professionals, including therapists, educators, and family members, to ensure holistic care.

We offer a competitive salary of £11.92 per hour plus a generous sleep-in rate of £30.00. You will also benefit from comprehensive training, ongoing support, and the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of vulnerable children.

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A full UK driving license
  • At least 12 months of experience working in a residential care setting
  • A genuine passion for supporting children and young people
