Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Store Operations Manager to join our team at Warner Leisure Hotels. As a key member of our retail operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our stores, maintaining high standards of customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain store areas in a clean and organized state, reporting any equipment defects to the Head Chef.
  • Be accountable for ordering, receiving, and storage of food as per our Food Safety Management System (FSMS).
  • Process invoices and complete weekly stock takes in alignment with our Group financial deadlines.
  • Confidently deal with external suppliers and delivery drivers.
  • Monitor deliveries and supplier information, and be proactive in arranging appropriate resource/support to ensure the guest experience is not affected.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, company, and Health & Safety policies within your area of responsibility.
  • Be proactive in arranging appropriate resource that is reflective of the guest numbers and food cost budgets, escalating to the Head Chef where necessary.
  • Work closely and liaise with the Head Chef to ensure compliance in audits and EHO visits.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality or retail industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of food safety and health and safety regulations.
