Retail Store Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Store Operations Manager to join our team at Warner Leisure Hotels. As a key member of our retail operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our stores, maintaining high standards of customer service, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain store areas in a clean and organized state, reporting any equipment defects to the Head Chef.
- Be accountable for ordering, receiving, and storage of food as per our Food Safety Management System (FSMS).
- Process invoices and complete weekly stock takes in alignment with our Group financial deadlines.
- Confidently deal with external suppliers and delivery drivers.
- Monitor deliveries and supplier information, and be proactive in arranging appropriate resource/support to ensure the guest experience is not affected.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, company, and Health & Safety policies within your area of responsibility.
- Be proactive in arranging appropriate resource that is reflective of the guest numbers and food cost budgets, escalating to the Head Chef where necessary.
- Work closely and liaise with the Head Chef to ensure compliance in audits and EHO visits.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality or retail industry.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train a team.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
- Knowledge of food safety and health and safety regulations.
- Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and bank holidays.
