We are seeking a highly skilled HR Business Partner to join our HSS Operations division. As a key member of the People team, you will play a pivotal role in guiding and supporting line managers and colleagues with people advice and day-to-day employee relations queries.

This is a hybrid working role, with two days spent working from home and three days visiting depots and distribution centres across England and Wales to support with complex cases and projects.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in employee relations and case work, with a strong understanding of employment legislation. They will also have excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to work closely with the wider HR team and key stakeholders.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting front-line employee relations queries in-line with employment legislation
  • Working closely with the HR Business Partner on key initiatives and projects to develop progress across the people strategy
  • Demonstrating an understanding of business operation and culture, supporting workstreams such as colleague wellbeing, diversity, engagement and retention
  • Working closely with HR functions such as Recruitment, Payroll and Learning and Development to deliver an all-round excellent service to the business division

The ideal candidate will have CIPD Level 3 and a strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel. They will also be able to travel around England and Wales as required, and have experience of operating in a fast-paced, multi-faceted organisation.
