Opportunity Overview

This is a fantastic opportunity to join the Newcastle University community as an Analytical Development Specialist in the Newcastle Cancer Centre Pharmacology Group. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in the coordination and management of research projects.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in ELISA assay development and be able to take on lead roles within a team. You will also have detailed subject knowledge in the area of research, with experience of working in clinical research and knowledge of GCLP standards.

Key responsibilities include planning and carrying out the development and validation of novel assays, generating assay validation plans and reports, and providing expert advice and management in all aspects of clinical pharmacology assay development.

Able to work efficiently and effectively under pressure, with excellent communication skills and attention to detail, we encourage applications from those who share our passion for making a difference through innovative research.
