About the Role

GSK is seeking a skilled Engineer to support the respiratory department in providing technical expertise for production equipment manufacturing multi-dose powder inhalers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver improvements across Frontend platforms and associated Infrastructure on site, ensuring documentation and validation reviews are completed.
  • Collaborate with equipment manufacturers, Quality and Safety Practitioners, and Regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with GMP standards.
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement, focusing on Safety, Quality, Cost, and Customer Service, and implement corrective and preventative actions.
  • Support and integrate Continuous Improvement techniques to optimize operational effectiveness of the plant.
  • Improve procedures relevant to the Frontend Engineering Department.
About You
  • Experience working in highly regulated environments, with a good standard of numeracy and literacy.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage small packages of Engineering work on complex manufacturing equipment.
  • Understanding of basic OE and leadership principles, with a willingness to learn and take personal accountability.
About Ware Manufacturing Site

The site produces medicines in Respiratory devices and Oral Solid Dose form, with a focus on launching new medicines in these dose forms.

The Frontend platform consists of Micronising, Blending, and Filling processes, which require technical expertise to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
