About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Platform Engineer to join our team at 1054 GlaxoSmithKline Services Unlimited. As a key member of our respiratory equipment team, you will be responsible for providing technical support and expertise to ensure the smooth operation of our production equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver improvements across frontend platforms and associated infrastructure, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with quality and safety practitioners, regulatory bodies, and equipment manufacturers to ensure seamless integration and validation of new equipment and processes.
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement, identifying and implementing process enhancements to optimize operational effectiveness and reduce costs.
  • Support and drive conformance to asset maintenance strategy, integrating digital and data processes to optimize plant performance.
  • Develop and maintain procedures relevant to the frontend engineering department, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
About You
  • Proven experience working within highly regulated environments, with a strong understanding of GMP principles and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Ability to manage small packages of engineering work on complex manufacturing equipment.
  • Understanding of basic OE and leadership principles.
