Clinical Lead

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Clinical Lead (Mental Health Practitioner) to join our First Response Service team. As a Clinical Lead, you will play a pivotal role in providing high-quality mental health services to individuals of all ages experiencing a mental health crisis.
Main Duties- Coordinate the shift and allocate work to the team, ensuring seamless service delivery.
- Conduct telephone triage and community face-to-face assessments for individuals in crisis, providing expert advice and support as needed.
- Develop and implement brief clinical risk assessments, mental health formulations, and short-term contingency plans for callers.
- Liaise with other professionals and agencies, including emergency services, GPs, local authorities, schools, and care homes, to ensure comprehensive support for individuals in crisis.
- Work closely with other mental health services, including secondary care teams, primary care mental health, and acute/crisis services, to provide a cohesive and effective response to mental health crises.
- Implement brief solution-focused interventions to empower patients, carers, and families in problem-solving and decision-making.
- Collaboratively develop safe and appropriate care plans, utilizing strong communication and assessment skills.
