About the Role

As a key member of the UCAS team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Commercial and Estates departments in achieving their business objectives. Your expertise will be instrumental in planning and delivering activities that drive success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Understand the strategic direction of the Commercial and Estates team to prioritize and program projects, initiatives, and communications effectively.
  • Ensure all Commercial and Estates projects and programmes have necessary authorization to proceed.
  • Support the Commercial and Estates team in delivering high-quality products and services on time and within budget.
  • Establish and maintain formal reporting arrangements for the Executive team and senior stakeholders.
  • Support board reporting and policy reviews across the Commercial and Estates Team.
  • Develop and introduce Procurement management policies and processes to ensure optimal outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Substantial experience in Portfolio, Programme, or Project Management using various formal methodologies.
  • Experience in managing third-party suppliers in project service delivery.
  • Leadership experience in project and programme management teams.
  • Proven track record in providing proactive, positive, and creative approaches to delivery and issue management.
  • Experience in Financial Management.
  • Excellent strategic planning and customer-facing skills.
  • Advanced technical understanding of programme management principles and techniques.
