About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join our team at Turnfurlong Junior School. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the class teacher and year group, implementing learning and numeracy strategies within the classroom, and monitoring pupils' responses to learning activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the class teacher and year group in delivering high-quality education to students
  • Implement learning and numeracy strategies within the classroom to enhance student outcomes
  • Monitor pupils' responses to learning activities and provide feedback to the class teacher
  • Develop and maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a Level 1 or higher certificate in 'Supporting Teaching and Learning In Schools' or equivalent, and Grade 9-4 (A*to C) in Maths and English. You will also need to have a positive outlook, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues.
