Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join our SEND department. The successful candidate will have experience working with children with specific needs and be able to deliver targeted interventions outside of the classroom. You will be working closely with the Assistant Principal/SENDCo to ensure the best possible outcomes for our students.

The ideal candidate will have:
  • Experience working in an educational setting and relevant qualifications in Learning Support.
  • A calm and understanding demeanor, with the ability to manage behavior and encourage students to interact with others.
  • The ability to work flexibly and constructively as part of a team, providing day-to-day classroom support and assisting with student behavior as needed.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to establish good relationships with students, teachers, and other staff members.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of our children, with a willingness to undergo an Enhanced DBS check and online screening check.
