About the Role

We are seeking an experienced English Teacher to join our team at Jubilee School, part of Acorn Education. As an English Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality education to students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges and additional complex behaviors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons to students with SEMH challenges
  • Assess and monitor student progress, identifying areas of strength and weakness
  • Develop and implement individualized learning plans to meet the needs of students
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and improve teaching methods
  • Contribute to the development of curriculum and resources to support student learning

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience of teaching students with SEMH challenges and additional complex behaviors
  • Strong subject knowledge and teaching skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
