Patient Flow Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Patient Flow Coordinator to join our team at Hereford Medical Group. As a Patient Flow Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our practice, providing exceptional patient care and customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Welcoming patients and visitors upon arrival, verifying appointments, and directing them to the appropriate waiting area.
- Assisting with patient check-in, ensuring all necessary information is collected and entered into the system.
- Providing information and assistance to patients regarding practice services, appointment scheduling, and general enquiries.
- Addressing patient concerns and escalating issues to the appropriate staff member when necessary.
- Monitoring the waiting area and coordinating with clinical staff to manage patient flow and minimize wait times.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work without direct supervision and determine own workload priorities.
- Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare processes is a plus.
