Patient Flow Coordinator

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Patient Flow Coordinator to join our team at Hereford Medical Group. As a key member of our reception team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of patients through our practice, providing exceptional customer service, and supporting administrative functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcoming patients and visitors, verifying appointments, and directing them to the appropriate waiting area
- Assisting with patient check-in, collecting and entering necessary information into the system
- Providing information and assistance to patients regarding practice services, appointment scheduling, and general enquiries
- Monitoring the waiting area and coordinating with clinical staff to manage patient flow and minimize wait times
- Ensuring the reception and waiting areas are clean, tidy, and well-maintained
Requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work without direct supervision and determine own workload priorities
- Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a healthcare setting
- Ability to stand for shift, assist patients with mobility issues, and push wheelchairs when needed
