Senior Business Financial Controller

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Business Financial Controller to join our clients dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing financial operations, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing strategic financial guidance to support the company's growth.

Responsibilities
  1. Oversee the preparation of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
  2. Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
  3. Conduct regular financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
  4. Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights that support decision-making.
  5. Supervise and mentor finance team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  6. Ensure compliance with tax regulations and prepare necessary documentation for audits.
  7. Utilise accounting software to streamline financial processes.
Requirements
  1. Qualified Accountant ACA/ACCA/CGMA/CPA
  2. Strong knowledge of financial management principles and practices.
  3. 3 years auditing experience within large businesses
  4. Knowledge of US GAAP and SOX
  5. Proficiency in accounting software (SAP and OneStream) is essential.
  6. Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  7. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  8. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
