Senior Business Finance Controller Job Description

Our prestigious client in Thame is seeking an experienced and proactive Senior Business Finance Controller to join their expanding Finance team. Reporting to the Finance Director, you will be responsible for different aspects of Trade and Financial Accounting, and you will be working in a dynamic, international, and challenging environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Timely and accurate preparation of trade results and balance sheets for the business at a commodity level.
  • Responsible for the financial reporting and analysis of the business, including the preparation of management accounts and financial statements.
  • Collaborate with the Finance Director to develop and implement financial strategies and plans to drive business growth and profitability.
  • Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and other financial documents.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and laws, including IFRS and SOX.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CGMA/CPA or international equivalent).
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience auditing large, complex businesses.
  • Strong working knowledge of SAP and in-depth knowledge of IFRS.
  • Experience with OneStream and knowledge of US GAAP and SOX.
